Can I access the British Library?
Answer
The Help for Researchers page is a useful introduction.
The British Library have produced a series of video guides about applying for a reader pass
At certain times of year, especially around the Easter period and during the summer term, the British Library experiences a large number of requests to use its facilities.
At these times, the British Library reserves the right to restrict admission to those users who need to consult material only available there.
Anyone who simply wishes to use it as study space may be turned away. You are advised to check that the material you need is only held at the British Library.
