What should I do if I have lost a library book?

Please do contact us as soon as possible if you have lost a library book. 

We charge a lost replacement process fee of £45 per item. This money covers the cost of replacing the item and staff time. Information on how to pay is here. 

If a loan is more than 7 weeks overdue our system will mark it as lost and you will be charged a replacement fee for the item.

If you find the item after it has been lost, please return it as soon as possible, the fee will not be removed from your account when this happens, so please contact us so staff can waive it. You can check you library account online at anytime. 

If you have any questions or think there has been an error, please contact us as soon as possible.
